Johnson Precision, Inc.

    Johnson Precision, Inc. is a CNC machining facility.  Started in 1942 as a tooling supplier for Bell Aircraft Company, we have evolved into a contract manufacturer machining components for a number of diverse industries.  We machine critical components for reciprocating and centrifugal compressors, liquid metering equipment, railroad locomotives, rapid transit gearboxes, large diesel engines, specialty ball and roller bearings and high pressure sensors, among others. 

   We manufacture components to customer specification from ferrous and non ferrous metals and plastics in bar, tube, plate, casting and forging.  We have experience with the entire range of steel alloys from low carbon steel to specialty grades of stainless steel and high temperature alloys such as Inconel, Hastalloy and Monel.  We machine ferrous castings from steel and gray and ductile iron as well as various forged materials. We also machine nonferrous castings from various grades of aluminum and bronze.  In addition, we regularly machine various laminated and thermosetting plastics ranging from NEMA G-10 laminate to PTFE.
